


Newly appointed army chief Major General Amir Hatami pledged continued retaliation against Israel in a statement following his promotion.
Thanking the Supreme Leader for his trust, Hatami said Iranian forces responded from the first moments of Israel’s assault and would deliver “decisive and effective blows” to what he called the “illegitimate and child-killing Zionist regime.”

Seven members of Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force were killed alongside the commander Amirali Hajizadeh in Israeli strikes early Friday, the IRGC’s public relations office confirmed Sunday.
The slain officers include Mahmoud Bagheri, Davoud Shekhian, Mohammad Bagher Taherpour, Mansour Safarpour, Masoud Tayyeb, Khosrow Hassani, and Javad Jarsara.
Footage received Sunday shows heavy smoke rising over Tehran following a strike on the Shahr-e Rey refinery complex.
The extent of damage or casualties is not yet confirmed, but the video suggests a significant fire at the site.
Police in Alborz province announced the arrest of two individuals in Savojbolagh, accusing them of collaborating with Mossad.
"The suspects were part of a Mossad terrorist team manufacturing bombs, explosive materials, booby traps, and electronic equipment in a safe house," a police spokesperson said.
Six members of Iran’s regular army were killed in an Israeli strike early Sunday on a military base in Sarpol-e Zahab, Kermanshah province, the Hengaw rights group reported.
Several others were injured. Videos circulating in Iranian media show heavy smoke and large explosions in Shiraz and Kermanshah.
