Iran Filmmaker Tells Oscar Academy To Include Those Who Reject Censorship
Bahman Ghobadi, director, screenwriter and filmmaker, in a letter to the Oscar Academy, called for a representation of works by independent and exiled filmmakers and urged not to forget filmmakers who did not accept government censorship.
