A union official: 15 to 20% of Tehran supermarkets have closed their shops due to economic reasons

The head of the Tehran Supermarket and Protein Materials Union announced that due to economic conditions, 15 to 20% of supermarkets in Tehran have closed their shops or changed jobs. He also said rising commodity prices, declining purchasing power, low sales and rising taxes were some of the reasons supermarkets closed.
