Reuters quoted two members of the resistance group in Panjshir as saying that at least seven Taliban fighters had been killed in clashes with the Taliban. Fahim Dashti, a spokesman for the National Resistance Forces, said the clash took place on Monday night (Tuesday night) at the western entrance to the Panjshir Valley when the Taliban attacked the group's positions.
