The Taliban destroyed the Alishir Nawai mural in Sheberghan

Taliban forces have destroyed a mural of Amir Ali Shir Nawai in the city of Sheberghan. Pictures of the ruins of this mural have been published on social media. Amir Alishir Navai was a poet, scientist and politician in the Timurid court who rendered valuable services to Khorasan (Afghanistan today).
