Some tankers switch to Iran-designated route in Strait of Hormuz - Bloomberg
Several ships attempting to leave the Persian Gulf reversed course near the Strait of Hormuz before some resumed their journeys using a route designated by Iran, Bloomberg News reported on Saturday, citing ship-tracking data.
At least eight vessels, including oil tankers, bulk carriers and vehicle carriers, were observed turning back near the Omani side of the strait between Friday and Saturday. Four later continued outbound along the Iranian route, the report said.
