Iran judiciary seizes assets of ex-footballer Ali Karimi

Iran’s judiciary said on Tuesday it had seized part of the properties of Ali Karimi, a former national football team player and prominent critic of the Islamic Republic.

One of the properties was registered in the name of Karimi’s son, Havash, and included two commercial units and four residential units, the judiciary said.
