IRGC spokesman accuses Trump of shifting between threats and talks

Mar 29, 2026, 11:46 GMT+1

An IRGC spokesman accused US President Donald Trump of sending inconsistent signals on the war, saying Washington was alternating between threats, negotiations and military action.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the IRGC’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said Trump raises threats in the morning and retreats from them by evening, while shifting between talk of negotiations and decisions to pursue the war.
