Spain backs EU sanctions on Iran, terrorist listing of IRGC
Spain supports sanctions against Iran, including measures targeting Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and efforts to designate the force as a terrorist organization, Europa Press reported citing sources at Spain’s foreign ministry.
The report said Spain aligns with a growing consensus to add the Revolutionary Guards, which they described as part of Iran’s repressive apparatus, to the list of terrorist organizations.
