Iran and Israel may resume fighting someday soon, Trump says

Jun 25, 2025, 17:55 GMT+1Updated: 20:39 GMT+1

The war between Iran and Israel is over and the ceasefire remains intact but the two sides might resume fighting soon, US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday.

“They've fought very hard, very viciously, and very violently, and they were both satisfied to go home and get out. Can it start again? I guess someday it could maybe start again soon,” the US president said on Wednesday during a press conference at the NATO summit in the Netherlands.
