The Pentagon thanked the GCC countries for assisting in the withdrawal of people from Afghanistan

According to the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, in contact with senior officials of the GCC member states, praised their role in evacuating endangered Afghan nationals and foreign nationals from Afghanistan.
