The former head of the Basij at the Ministry of Oil has been appointed CEO of the National Gas Company

Javad Oji, the Minister of Oil, appointed Majid Chegini, the former head of the Basij and the former director general of the Ministry of Oil's Export Supervision, as the CEO of the National Gas Company. Javad Oji himself was the CEO of the National Gas Company in the government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
