Emergency spokesman: There is one ambulance for every 50,000 people in Iran

"There is one ambulance for every 50,000 people in Iran, while we have to have one ambulance for every 12,000 people," said Mojtaba Khaledi, a spokesman for the emergency services. He added that there are currently 20,000 emergency medical services in the emergency department, but at least 30,000 are needed.
