German police have arrested a 16-year-old Syrian boy for trying to blow up a synagogue

German police, with the help of a foreign intelligence service, have arrested four people, including a 16-year-old Syrian boy, for allegedly attempting to bomb a synagogue in Hagen, German media reported. According to Bild and Der Spiegel, the teenager intended to detonate an improvised explosive device on the day of Kipur, the Jewish holy day.
