Gilan police force: 79 members of a mixed tourism tour arrested on charges of promoting emerging mysticism
Azizullah Maleki, commander of the Gilan police force, said 79 members of a "mixed tourism" tour, including 27 women and 52 men, had been arrested on charges of "promoting emerging false mysticism by holding superstitious rituals in the insecure environment of a remote and remote forest area."
