The new governor of Khuzestan, Sadegh Khalilian, said on Thursday after his introduction that he had prepared a five-year plan to solve the problems of this province. Ibrahim Ra'isi had promised to elect a special governor for Khuzestan, and Khalilian, who was Ahmadinejad's minister of agriculture, was eventually appointed to the post.
