Biden government plans to lift some of Bashar al-Assad's sanctions on Egyptian gas supplies to Lebanon

According to Washington Free Bacon, citing informed sources in Congress, the Biden administration intends to lift part of the sanctions against Bashar al-Assad for war crimes in order to make it possible to conclude a gas transfer agreement from Egypt to Lebanon through Syrian territory.
