Iran has missiles that split into 80 bombs, lawmaker says
An Iranian lawmaker said on Tuesday the Islamic Republic has missiles that can split into 80 bombs or separate warheads, claiming the capability could overwhelm US air defenses.
Hosseinali Hajideligani, deputy head of parliament’s Article 90 committee, said firing 10 such missiles at once would amount to 800 bombs, asking: “what THAAD, what Patriot can hit these?”
