Second US warplane crashes near Hormuz, pilot rescued - NYT
A second US Air Force combat aircraft crashed in the Persian Gulf region on Friday, with the pilot safely rescued, the New York Times reported, citing two US officials.
The aircraft, an A-10 Warthog, went down near the Strait of Hormuz around the same time an F-15E fighter jet was shot down over Iran, the report said.
