Israel says it struck weapons production sites in Tehran overnight

The Israeli military said on Monday that it had struck additional weapons production and research sites in Tehran overnight, part of a wider campaign over the past two days targeting facilities linked to missile production.

In a statement, the military said about 40 sites had been hit in large-scale air operations over the past two days. It said the targets included a facility used to assemble long-range surface-to-air missiles, a site producing components for anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, and a facility involved in the production, research, and development of ballistic missile engines.
