His remarks come as Israeli forces continue a broad military campaign targeting Iranian missile and nuclear sites.

Revolutionary Guards' Aerospace Force targeted Israeli air bases used in attacks on Iranian territory, said the IRGC on Tuesday.

Gabbard had told lawmakers that Iran’s nuclear weapons program ended in 2003 and has not been restarted.
Israel’s foreign ministry criticized Iran’s internet restrictions amid ongoing conflict.
“Isn’t cutting off the Iranian people’s internet a violation of freedom of expression?” it wrote in Farsi on X.
The statement follows widespread reports of connectivity issues and isolation from international data.
On Tuesday , monitoring group NetBlocks confirmed a significant drop in internet traffic across Iran.
US President Donald Trump has ended his national security meeting in the White House Situation Room, held to assess the escalating conflict between Israel and the Islamic Republic.
No immediate statement was issued following the session.
Yemen's Houthis will intervene to support Iran in its conflict with Israel, as it previously did during the war in Gaza, a senior Houthi figure told Al Jazeera Mubasher.
