Canada to evacuate families of diplomats from Israel

The embassy of Canada in Israel will evacuate the families of diplomats from the country tomorrow, Times of Israel reported citing Hebrew media reports, as Iran and its proxies prepare to attack Israel to avenge Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh's killing in Tehran.

The families of Canadian diplomats will be moved to Jordan "due to the security situation" but the diplomats will remain in Israel, Canada's former ambassador to Israel Vivian Bercovici said. "Canada is the only country doing this based on media reports which have been confirmed."
