The Writers' Association of Iran issued a statement calling for the immediate execution of Keyvan Baghen, Baktash Abtin and Reza Khandan, prisoners of the association, calling it a "repression of freedom of expression" and calling for their immediate release. The center wrote that defending freedom of expression and opposing censorship led to harsh sentences for these individuals.
