Russia's Central Election Commission (CEC): According to preliminary results, the pro-Putin party is leading in the parliamentary elections

Russia's Central Election Commission (CEC) has said that according to preliminary results of the parliamentary elections, the United Russia party, the ruling party and supporter of Vladimir Putin, is the leader and possibly the winner of the parliamentary elections. According to the commission, out of 33% of the votes counted, more than 45% belonged to the United Russia Party.
