Abdullah Abdullah, chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council in Afghanistan, denied the news of his arrest by the Taliban, which was tweeted by an Indian journalist. He wrote on Twitter that the news that the Taliban had arrested him and transferred him to an unknown location was wrong.
