Russian Foreign Minister: We oppose the use of Syrian territory against Israel

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a meeting with his Israeli counterpart that Russia opposes Syria becoming a region for confrontation with other countries. "That is why we do not want Syrian territory to be used against Israel or any third country," he added.
