Head of the Palestinian Authority: I am in contact with the US government for a two-state solution

According to Palestinian media reports, Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, said he was in contact with the US government to implement a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He said a unified Palestinian state could be formed if Hamas recognized the international legitimacy of the PA.
