Saeed Mortazavi acquitted of 'Deputy Murder' and 'Illegal Detention' case of 1988 election protesters

Ekhtebar News Agency reported that the First Branch of the Supreme Court acquitted Saeed Mortazavi, a former Tehran prosecutor, in connection with the case of "assisting in murder" and "participating in illegal detention" of protesters during the 1988 presidential election.
