Ecuador declares state of emergency following prison riot, killing 22 people

Following a riot at two Ecuadorian prisons that killed 22 people and injured 57 others, President Guillermo Lasso declared a state of emergency in Ecuador's prison system and ordered the army to maintain prison security.
