Iran’s Guardian Council urges people to display unity by attending Khamenei funeral

Iran’s Guardian Council called on people on Wednesday to attend the funeral of slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, saying a large turnout would display national solidarity and unity.

In a statement, the council said the funeral should show that Iranians would not retreat from the path of “guardianship, law and jihad” after Khamenei’s killing.
