Asian chipmakers face supply disruption from Hormuz closure - Bloomberg
Asian chipmakers including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and Samsung Electronics are facing disruptions to supplies of oil and other essential commodities due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.
The companies are preparing contingency plans to limit the impact if the Middle East conflict drags on, the report said.
