Jordan says won't let Israel or Iran use its airspace against each other

Jordan will not turn into a battlefield for Iran or Israel, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi told Al Arabiya.

"We have informed the Iranians and Israelis that we will not allow anyone to violate our airspace or endanger the security of our citizens," he added, dismissing Israeli media reports that Jordan will allow Israel to use its airspace against Iran.

He warned that anything that crosses Jordan's airspace or that the country perceives as a threat to Jordan or its citizens will be intercepted.
