China's Xiaomi is blocking its mobile phones to avoid sanctions problems in Iran

Chinese company Xiaomi has been forced to block its mobile phones in some countries, such as Iran and Syria, in order to comply with export regulations and avoid sanctions problems. According to the Exodus Association, a mobile software developer, if Xiaomi phones are activated in these countries, they will be locked automatically.
