Hamshahri report; Billion trade in horse sperm in Iran

Hamshahri newspaper quotes the head of the veterinary committee of the Iranian Equestrian Federation as referring to the "billion trade" of horse sperm and writes that each dose of sperm sometimes costs up to 70 million tomans. Hamshahri writes that imported sperm are sold for three to four thousand euros, and the sperm of "extinct" horses is also sold.
