Hundreds of students at Kabul American University returned home from the airport

The New York Times reports that 600 students at the American University of Afghanistan were unable to leave Kabul in the last minutes of outbound flights. Hours later, they received a letter saying, "Unfortunately, the command of #Kabul Airport has announced the end of the deployment of civilians."
