Fourteen organizations based in Europe and the United States called for immediate action to secure the release of Ahmad Reza Jalali

Fourteen scientific and civic organizations in Europe and the United States issued a statement calling on Western governments to take immediate action to secure the release of Ahmad Reza Jalali, an Iranian-Swedish researcher sentenced to death. The statement expressed concern over Jalali's deteriorating health and the possibility of his execution following the appointment of Ebrahim Reisi.
