Syrian Assistant Minister of Health: We have relied on Iran and Russia to provide medicines

Ahmed Khalifawi, Assistant Minister of Health, confirmed in a statement to the Iranian "Tasnim" news agency, that his country is unable to import medicines for chronic and cancerous diseases due to US sanctions, and for this reason relies on "allies, especially Iran and Russia."
