The Supreme Court overturned the 15-year prison sentence of the former head of the Privatization Organization

Mir Ali Ashraf Abdullah Poori Hosseini, former head of the Privatization Organization, said the Supreme Court had violated his 15-year prison sentence and he had been released. Poori Hosseini was arrested in August 1998 and sentenced to prison last year for violating the transfer of some companies, including Moghan Agro-industry and Haft Tappeh Sugarcane.
