The Iranian ambassador to Sweden announced that he had met with an Iranian prisoner in that country
Ahmad Masoumi Far, Iran's ambassador to Sweden, said without naming a personal name that he had managed to meet with an Iranian citizen in a Swedish prison after 20 days of trying. He added that "there was evidence of violence" and in a note to the State Department of Justice called for an independent inquiry into "prisoner rights violations".
